Information Unit

The Information Unit (IU) was created in 2014 to provide the information services required by the Faculty of Engineering administration for following up on its employees (staff, faculty, technicians), the progress of the academic status of the students, and to supply decision makers with current/ historic and statistical data, which can be attained both instantly and accurately. Also, the IU supervises the technical design of the college web site, and acts as the administrator for it to realize the required flexibility for the content providers, and the ease of access to useful information for site surfers and researchers. This unit is also charged with supervising the design, creation and administration of the Faculty of Engineering’s electronic archive, and making the administrative, academic, technical and scientific research documents available on-line, ready for easy, fast and secure search operations.
