KAU Engineering Rising in World Ranking

The Faculty of Engineering at KAU is proud to announce its recent elevation in world ranking according to three world-class educational ranking organizations.

The well-known U.S. News & World Report ranks the Faculty of Engineering at KAU #1 in engineering amongst its ‘Best Arab Universities class this year (http://www.usnews.com/education/arab-region-universities/engineering).

and #8 in engineering amongst its ‘Best Global Universities for Engineering class this year (https://www.usnews.com/education/best-global-universities/search?region=&subject=engineering&name=).

The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), conducted by researchers at the Center for World-Class Universities of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (CWCU) now ranks KAU Engineering #5 in the world for engineering/technology and computer sciences (http://www.shanghairanking.com/FieldENG2016.html), up from a rank of 101-150 in 2013, 51-75 in 2014, and 45 in 2015.

Finally the QS World University Rankings puts the college between #151-200 in the world for its ‘World Ranking by Subject’ category – ‘Engineering: Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing’ class (http://www.topuniversities.com/university-rankings/university-subject-rankings/2015/engineering-mechanical#sorting=rank+region=+country=+faculty=+stars=false+search= ).

This is yet more proof to be celebrated that great things are happening at the Faculty of Engineering, which aims to stand at the forefront of engineering research and innovation excellence in the region and beyond, positioning its graduates to be the No. 1 recruitment choice for governmental and private sectors.
