Alumni Relations Unit (ARU)

The Faculty of Engineering at KAU prides itself in producing
successful graduates, and extends every effort to incorporate, serve, and honor
them in its overall engineering life-long community.
The Alumni Relations Unit (ARU) maintains consistent relations with
KAU Engineering graduates after graduation using a digital database to
facilitate prompt and accurate contact. The ARU also provides potential
employers with relevant alumni information for the purpose of recruitment,
facilitating career guidance and job search, arranging orientation sessions,
resume preparation and interviews. ARU staff also conduct alumni and employer
surveys, prepare annual reports and coordinate alumni participation in the
annual graduation ceremonies.
In addition to this, the unit is responsible for the distribution of
introduction letters and alumni participation in the Career Day, Engineering
Day, and Open Day activities. These activities introduce prospective employers
and existing students to each other.
