Retirees and high achievers recognised

Tuesday April 5th marked an annual function held by King Abdulaziz University (KAU) in honour of its retirees.

Held at King Faisal Convention Centre, the event was graced with the presence of Prof Abdullah Mohorji, Vice President, and senior executives.

Addressing the audience, Prof Mohorji said that KAU was immensely proud of its retirees, and that the event was being held as a token of gratitude for their contributions towards development.

He was quoted as saying: "The University holds this ceremony at the end of every year as a mark of honour for its retirees who have spent much of their lives working tirelessly for this deep-rooted educational institution".

He also urged retirees to keep open channels of communication with the University.

He also seized the opportunity to pledge allegiance to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Dr Eman Banajah gave a speech on behalf of the honourees, in which she thanked the organisers of the event for the nice gesture.
 
A film in which retirees spoke about their experience at KAU was also screened during the event.
