KAU President to female students: New on-campus shuttle train service will be introduced

A shuttle train service will soon be introduced to facilitate in and around campus movement, KAU President, Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, told female students during a meeting via video conference held on Sunday at King Faisal Convention Centre.
He also revealed that a number of new facilities, including sunshades and more car parking spaces, were being built to make tertiary life a better environment for the students.
A crowd of senior KAU executives attended the meeting.
In presence were Prof Abdurrahman Alyoubi, Vice President for Educational Affairs, and Dr Abdelmonem Alhayani, Dean of Students' Affairs, and Dr Amin Numan, Dean of Admission and Registration.
Prof Tayyeb seized the opportunity to urge students to voice their views, comments and complaints in order to improve services, maintaining that their feedback would be carefully dealt with.
He also said this regular president-students meeting was held with the express purpose of listening to students' comments and suggestions in order to identify and address their various needs.
A number of issues pertinent to student life and learning at the university were openly discussed at the meeting, during which Prof Tayyeb listened and responded to points raised by a number of students. |
