Faculty of Nursing celebrates accreditation by ACEN

A special ceremony was held Wednesday to celebrate the accreditation of the Faculty of Nursing by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.
Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, KAU President, expressed his sheer delight and congratulated the faculty's dean and staff on the trailblazing achievement.
"Accreditation is not the end of the journey, rather an impetus for exerting greater efforts to secure a prestigious place among internationally reputable universities", he said.
Prof Abdul-Fattah Mashat, Vice President for Development, seized the opportunity to praise the faculty for its sterling efforts to obtain the accreditation, stressing KAU's commitment and dedication to acquire accreditations from reputable accrediting bodies around the world.
Dr Hasna Banjar, the faculty's dean, pointed out that accreditation was the outcome of a lengthy and rigorous self-examination process to demonstrate compliance with academic standards and accreditation criteria.
Dr Shadia Abdullah Yousuf, vice dean for development, pointed out that the accreditation status was granted to the faculty, ahead of all its peers in the Middle East, after demonstrating compliance with international accreditation standards. |
