KAU scoops gold at SUSF Basketball Championship
 
 
 
 
 King Abdulaziz University (KAU) has clinched the title of the Saudi University Sports Federation (SUSF) basketball championship after defeating Umm Al-Qura University 91-58. 

The third place went to King Saud University (KSU).

The championship was organized by SUSF and hosted by KAU Deanship of Students' Affairs.

 
KAU team was crowned by Dr Waleed A. Al-Dali, SUSF's President, in the presence of Dr Abdullah Mohorji, KAU Vice President, and Dr Abdelmonem Alhayani, Dean of Stduents' Affairs.

In statements following the crowning, Prof Mohorji congratulated KAU participants on their spectacular results and urged them to double efforts to achieve more in years to come. 

 
He also linked the impressive achievements of KAU participants in the competitions to laborious efforts made by KAU staff and coaches, whom he urged to make more effort in future events.

Prof Alhayani praised KAU's positive participation in the event and the remarkable performance of its participants, attributing it to KAU's hard work to improve its sports facilities.
