In order to enhance and
regularize KAU Engineering–Industry cooperation, the Faculty of Engineering
formed an Industrial Advisory Board in 2003(1423H). The board consists of
leading personalities from public and private sector organizations, as well
as senior faculty members from the university. KAU Engineering Industrial
Advisory Board meetings are scheduled twice a year, with its subsequent decisions producing
positive and lasting influence on the overall position of the Faculty of
Engineering towards the service of local industry in particular, and the
community at large.
